Lachlan Harris

Lachlan Harris, a Gold Coast native, has over 20 years’ experience in the property industry. His genuine and reliable personality has resulted in a confident, well rounded leader who is a valued member of the Avanti team.

As Director of the Commercial Property business, he works with government and private property owners and developers. The relationships he forged throughout his career, together with his local knowledge were excellent foundations for the Commercial business which continues on a growth trajectory.

The Avanti Commercial team have been chosen for their expertise in a range of areas from sales and leasing of small business offices and retail outlets, high-rise commercial developments and medical premises to rural service stations, truck stops and food outlets. Supporting this dynamic group are highly skilled marketing, graphic design and administration personnel.

The team is led by Lachlan Harris as Managing Director whose experience encompasses over 25 years in Commercial Property on the Gold Coast for national agencies before establishing his own business. As an owner, he takes personal responsibility for providing service of the highest professional standard.

Our team’s experience spans every aspect of commercial property from identifying the ideal location for a petrol station or fast food outlet, to assisting with the purchase of land for a multi-faceted, mixed-use urban development.

The foundation of our business model is the strength of our relationships with valuators, accountants, lawyers and government. It’s due to these relationships that we are able to discover opportunities before they go to market; and it’s due to our ability to cut through the red tape and act quickly, that we are able to keep our customers one step ahead of the competition.

Our Story

Avanti Commercial was established under the Avanti banner in 2017, and quickly adapted to the group business model, which was to take a broader approach to real estate by providing an end-to-end solution to their clients’ needs.

The business is built on long-term relationships based on trust, loyalty and respect. We see every transaction as not a single sale or purchase, but the beginning of a long term relationship, because we produce the results that our clients expect.

We have expertise in all aspects of Commercial property, plus we have a unique perspective and extensive knowledge on the specialised areas of development sites, leasing, medical, service stations and fast food outlets, truck stops and medical properties.

Philosophy

We aren’t afraid to tell it like it is. We provide counsel on potential market conditions that can have adverse effects on the final price, provide guidance and manage expectations. We are early adopters and testers of platforms and technologies used for marketing and social media, however also understand many deals are still done via word-of-mouth and drawing on our relationships.

We are well practiced in the art of negotiation with requires patience, integrity and the creativity to find solutions to big and small issues that can cause a deal to unravel. The deal isn’t done until the transaction has closed and we go above and beyond to make sure that no details goes overlooked.
