Avanti Commercial is thrilled to announce that 946-960 Greenbank Road, North Maclean has been leased to a brand new local business – Woody’s Barbershop!
Owned and operated by the lovely Rebecca (Bec) Evans, Woody’s Barbershop is set to bring a fresh, community-focused energy to the area. Positioned in a bustling retail strip alongside popular food outlets and specialty stores, the shop enjoys excellent exposure, easy parking, and the perfect location to connect with the community.
We’re so excited to see this vision come to life and are delighted to share Bec’s story in her own words:
“Hi, I’m Bec. I’ve been working in the barbering industry for 17 years, and throughout that time I’ve developed a real passion for the craft as well as the community that comes with it. For me, barbering has always been about more than just haircuts – it’s about creating a welcoming space where people can relax, connect, and leave feeling their best.
Taking over my first shop is a huge milestone, and I’m excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm into this next chapter. The name Woody’s Barbershop is a nod to my maiden name, Woodward, and represents both a personal touch and a sense of tradition.
My first official day at the shop will be 7th October 2025, and to celebrate, we’ll be hosting a Grand Opening Open Day on 19th October 2025. It’ll be a chance for the community to come through, take a look around, meet the team, enjoy some food and music, check out some cool cars, and even be in the running for a few lucky draw prizes. My goal is to build a shop with warmth, character, and quality at its heart, where everyone feels at home.”
Bec also shared her gratitude for the journey in securing this space:
